I’ve had a great life and have been lucky enough to have done quite a lot of fun things. I’ve been fortunate enough to have worked on several groundbreaking products, been mentored by topnotch leaders, and have found myself in awe working alongside some of the most brilliant coworkers. I learned a lot. I’ve also been fortunate enough to have traveled throughout the United States, Canada, and other parts of the world. We live on a truly beautiful planet.
Over time, I’ve come to realize that my best role has been that of a “Right Hand Man”. Basically, I use my skills as a jack of all trades to serve the leader. As a Right Hand Man, I solve problems, perform special projects, and fill in the gaps. I’m dropped into a situation, get the lay of the land, then execute.
This role ties in with my personal motto, “There are two types of people in the world, those that are my friends, and those that are yet to be my friend.” I firmly believe when we understand and respect each other we can accomplish anything. No matter how much we may struggle and disagree about direction, in the end, we remain friends. That is the true feat.
